Refund policy

Damages and issues

Hampton Botanic takes pride in providing customers with products of a high quality and standard. We take great care when packing items for shipping, but sometimes accidents do happen! If an item arrives broken and/or damaged, please email us at love@hamptonbotanic.com.au within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence of the item and the packaging as you received it (required for insurance purposes), along with the order number & receipt. We will reply to you to discuss a replacement or refund. Refunds will only be credited to the same account/card which you used to make your initial purchase/transaction.

 

Change of mind

We do not offer refunds for orders due to 'Change of Mind' or because an item is not how you expected / no longer suitable for your purposes. We endeavour to describe our items in as much detail as possible on the website to help you make a considered choice before purchasing, and welcome any questions via email prior to purchasing to assist in any way we can and to help you purchase the best products for your needs. At our discretion, we may agree to exchange unused candles in resellable condition within 28 days of purchase for another of the same value, please email us to discuss. The customer is responsible for all involved shipping costs via a registered tracked postal or courier service at their own expense. We are in no way responsible or liable for goods that may go missing or be lost in transit. 

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Due to hygiene/safety reasons we cannot accept returns of skincare/body/soul products for any reason. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Procedure

To request a refund or return, you can contact us at love@hamptonbotanic@com.au. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

 

Refunds 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
